Okay, so there are quite a few people on this community, and we need to get the fire started again. So, here are some new ideas and guidelines for posting in here:
Everyone is encouraged to post.
You can post suggestions for restaurants, reviews for restaurants you've been to, etc, etc. If it deals with eating out in Portland, let's hear about it.
If you're headed out to eat somewhere and wouldn't mind some company, then post it here a day or two in advance anyone interested in joining you can come. Given that misshelen and I have busy schedules, I don't want you to rely completely on us for outings. Create your own! And we'll try and be there.
I'm well aware that pdxfood exists, and I encourage you all to join that community as well. I'm not trying to win them out or anything.
The fire has rekindled in me, and though I'm often strapped for cash, I think we can still make these outings happen. So, without further ado, I propose that we have another outing!!!!
Since I love it so much, and since I just wrote a hot review of it, let's go eat at Golden Jade!!! I propose Wednesday the 15th of February, at 6:00pm. If you can make it, please RSVP. There won't be any seating issues, so feel free to bring along your friends! Let's go eat!
Ah yes, I'll add that in there... I forgot that part.

We'll be there unless that's an "I'm only eating toast" night.
Thanks for suggesting a Golden Jade outing! I can't commit to coming yet but just wondering why a weeknight instead of a weekend? Just wondering (and not proposing a schedule change around me or anything).
The reason why I can never get to damnportlanders outings because weeknights are just too busy and stressful after work for me. :/
Well, our history with weekend turnout hasn't been that great, but that doesn't rule them out completely. The only reason I chose that is because it works best with my schedule at the moment. The weekends before and after are swamped. But I'll try to have a variety of dates and times in the coming outings. Feel free to set up your own outing as well.
